It has been my great pleasure to work recently with Dr. Deborah Carlin and her amazing organization Partners In Excellence.
The goal of this project was to take the current website and make it mobile friendly by updating the design and feel of the website interface.
Websites much like magazines and other publications are far more effective when the branding and the user interface is consistent and relates to the culture and ethos of that business or entity.
Imagine going into an Apple Store and instead of the sleek clean design we are used is replaced by the decor found in a Cracker Barrel.

It wouldn’t keep with their image or the way that Apple does things. It would distract people from the point. It’s the same with Cracker Barrel, people go there expecting to look through the store at all the various sale items the way they have always seen them. Drastic changes can cause a big drop in the appeal and what it is that draw people to a business. That’s why it is always important when doing a major transition on anything relating to a businesses brand to stay on message with all other aspects of the brand or make a purposeful transition to something new.
The Outcome was a nice transition without any loss or major changes to the design. We incorporated a new layout that allows for a simple row by row design. Within each row we can set up multiple columns allowing for flexibility when creating content. The main readable content follows a nice consistent flow that is readable on mobile devices as well as desktops and laptops.

Hydra-Tek was founded by Brian Billington who along with Mark Riley have over 40 years of experience in the hydraulic and heavy equipment repair industry. They have worked with numerous businesses in the St. Louis area which has afforded them the knowledge and understanding needed to work successfully and get results. Now they use this knowledge and experience to provide high quality work at affordable prices.
Brain came to us knowing what his goal was, but wasn’t sure how to tell their story. We helped them develop their business plan and path to success. Being able to design a cohesive brand and logo is key to truly reflect the culture and ethos of the company. Once that was established, we were able to also develop tools and resources to help facilitate the goal of generating leads and driving sales
We provided Hydra-Tek with their Logo, business cards, custom business forms, brochures, informative website and social media set-up and integration. In order for them to maintain and update these tools they use OCCAM Online – Managed Services. Being an ongoing part of the Hydra-Tek team allows us to grow and expand their resources as needed. With all of these tools at their disposal, they are now able to share their story, keep in touch with existing clients and bring in new customers.

It was a great pleasure recently to work with Lauren Davis of Impact Marketing on this graphic design project for a local BNI group. For this project a 3.75X8.75 information card was produced. It was designed with a magnetic strip on the back allowing it to be attached to file cabinets and drawers in workplaces where the list of Strategic Maintenance Partners with a list of resources ranging from Lawn Service to Roofing and Cleaning.
This grass roots co-marketing effort is indicative of the way small businesses work together to provide quality services in a consistent manner. Thank you to Lauren and all of the service providers involved with this project.
In October of 2013 I helped launch a business website for Cambridge Adult Day Centers. This responsive business website was built to create a place online for those interested in learning about the services provided by Cambridge ADC.
This business website was built on the WordPress platform and set up to utilize Google Analytics as well as having built in SEO tools to help maximize exposure on Search Engines and other web indexes. Simple email forms have also been set up allowing people on library and public computers to submit information request directly to the staff at Cambridge.
Cambridge Adult Day Center is licensed through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Adult Day Care Program. Cambridge Adult Day Center was developed to provide quality care to participants in the Saint Louis area with a loving and holistic approach. Cambridge Adult Day Center provides the bridge needed for socialization and care for adults. Check them out at http://www.cambridgeadc.com

Here we have a sneak peak of an upcoming website, The Broadway Fund. This is an informational website with an information intake to help qualify leads. Through the use of a simple Goal Conversion Process we filter through Investors, Brokers and Borrowers creating a funnel process allowing for quick and immediate action with potential customers and clients.
The simple straightforward presentation of information clearly sectioned and organized helps add to the effectiveness of the website through simple flat design and clear divisions of information.
Anne Reid Products, Inc owner of StellyBelly Pregnancy Comfort Products (formerly MyMommy Love) needed to move beyond their Mom & Pop garage business approach and look, moving into the realm of Brand Building. Through a cooperative effort with Lauren Davis of Impact Marketing Cooperative a new look feel and flow was created for all online and conventional media. This work included logos for both Anne Reid Products as well as StellyBelly in addition to online and print media for StellyBelly to include an eCommerce website.
The goal was to create a straightforward sales portal for StellyBelly allowing customers to easily purchase products and pay through an online payment gateway. We also integrated this site with QuickBooks as well as UPS allowing us current financial and shipping data. This system is built on the WordPress CMS allowing for complete control of the website from the standpoint of Customer Service as well as Order Fulfillment and Shipping.
As with all of our web products this site is also integrated with Google Analytics allowing clear detailed data on not only how many people are coming to the site but where they are going and for how long. With this information it is easy to track bounce rates as well as goal conversions in the sales process making the WordPress
CMS into a powerful sales and marketing tool.
It was a great pleasure to work with Gloria Buckman of Gloria Buckman Creative on the ApartmentSource.US project for The Michaelson Organization.
For this site we set up WordPress as the Content Management System (CMS). From there we implemented a property management system with the ability to:
The total time for this website development project was 4 months and resulted in a highly effective website that The Michaelson Organization is now using to create more awareness about their properties. This website in conjunction with other online activities helps give ApartmentSource.us a greater presence and exposure online.
